Create your own plant care station

Patch has teamed up with the lovely folks at Mustard Made to show you how to create your very own plant care station.

Lockers may conjure images of half-eaten packed lunches and graffiti, but Mustard Made are changing the game with their colourful, clever, and soulful collection. Our favourite, The Lowdown, is the perfect partner to display and store your plants and accessories.

1. At a height of 72cm, The Lowdown is the perfect height for you to pot-ter around at (see what we did there).

2. Like all Mustard Made’s lockers, The Lowdown is made from quality powder coated steel, meaning that you can wipe it down easily to keep it clean, should you spill any soil in your re-potting process.

3. You can use your locker to store all relevant plant-care-related essentials out of sight, but with easy access to them. Use magnetic hangers to store/dry your dust cloths, and storage baskets for pots, accessories, seeds… etc. As an extra bonus, you can lock your locker to keep wandering little fingers and paws away from your secateurs.

4. When not in use, your plants will look great on and around your locker. You could cleverly perch smaller plants like Fidel and trailing plants like Jethro on top, or nestle your station among larger plants like Big Ken — your organised urban jungle awaits!
